Lorna was a special person and a friend to everyone she met. A true example of putting others first, accepting each person as they are and taking time to connect all of us together. As I looked around the graveside service I saw many of the new friends I have in the music business because of Lorna. I thought about her determination and passion to never give up on her dream of being a #1 hit songwriter. There are many hit songwriters we are not aware of; but if you are in the songwriting community in Nashville, almost everyone knows the name of Lorna Flowers. What is it that is really important? Is it a #1 hit song or is it the lives you touch and inspire along the way? I saw the power of what one person could do to touch so many lives and bring together all of us in one place. She lived, she gave and she loved. We were blessed to have Lorna as one of our Judges for some of our past Galaxy of Stars Songwriting Contests. Her enthusiasm for this program, the songs and the songwriters was an inspiration. She was a special friend and will be missed by so many. As we look up into the evening sky, we will see a new bright star shining down on all of us. ~ Wynne

Bobby O' Dell recently recorded 3 of his original songs in Nashville - "Hippie Chicken Farm," "Missin' Kissin' You" and "The One That Saves Me." Kerrie Jo Varley, Jaimee Paul and Ronnie Kimball did backup vocals. Denny Martin and Wynne Adams were co-producers. The album was released in January 2014. Bobby is a talented performer and songwriter and is continuing to work toward a complete album of his original songs.

Bennington, NE - Seventeen year old Singer-Songwriter was in Nashville to Record Three Original Songs at Denny Martin Music Studio March 5-8, 2013.
Kiana's recording session began with a review of her original songs. The songs were then charted for the instrumental tracks Nashville musicians recorded the next day with Kiana singing scratch vocals. During the final two days, Kiana recorded her vocals on the instrumental tracks, background vocals were added and the mixing and mastering that follows will complete Kiana's recording project.

In August Amanda will be moving to Nashville to work on an original album, which she hopes will lead to the singing career she has dreamed of since she was a very young child. Amanda will perform "Little Girl Big Dream," an original single recently recorded in Nashville, as well as over 30 of her favorite songs. One set of songs will be performed with a live backup band. June 8, 2013 Jordan is currently working for Celebrity Cruise lines as a solo singer /piano player and is LOVING IT! He is currently in Bermuda and his previous tour was in the Caribbean. His next 6 month tour will be sailing out of San Diego and will do all of the Mexico stops, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and then goes to Guatemala, Costa Rica Panama, Colombia and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He will be doing this next cruise until April of 2014. Watch the video of him performing on the ship with the orchestra.

In December 2012 at Aliens and Strangers Recording Studios in Chappell, Nebraska, Morayah Cupp recorded "Santa Eat Your Cookies," a song written by Lance Gilbreath, a performing artist and songwriter from Huntsville, Alabama. Christopher Dyson, owner and engineer of the music studio recorded the song. The recording by Morayah was given as a thank you gift from Lance to Alabama students whose music class performed the song at their Christmas concerts. |

Katie is basing her music business in Omaha, Nebraska, and she is currently the lead singer for the McKenzie River Band. Katie’s sound and musical style are a composite of Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Nettles, Adele, Duffy and Maroon 5 and can be described as pop-country with an edge. She loves the funky grooves of the 70s and the fun dance beats. It could also be said that Katie is like Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. She is capable of surprising and intriguing changes in appearance, style and mood. She can look natural, classic, romantic, be serious, funny, dramatic and at times goofy. When she is on stage, she is filled with energy and performs each song with deep felt emotion. Katie is looking forward to recording new songs in Nashville this summer.

Kristina was recently at the Denny Martin Recording Studio in Nashville to develop and make arrangements to record her 10 song album toward the end of summer. She has been busy with performances around the Nashville area as well as in Nebraska, her home state; and she especially enjoys working with and performing for women and children shelters in both Tennessee and Nebraska.
Kristina bridges the gap between Christian music and country. It makes for some interesting contrasts as she combines the two styles instead of separating them. Instead of a song being strictly gospel or typical country, she infuses inspirational themes with often realistic, gritty topics.

Katie Admire held her Belmont University School of Music senior recital, performing with her band, on March 22, 2012, and on March 24, 2012 Katie performed with Southbound at Massey Concert Hall, singing two songs, "Red Umbrella" and "Watcha Gonna Do." Katie's graduation from Belmont University School of Music is coming up fast; she will be graduating in May! While attending school in Nashville, Katie has also been working in Public Relations in the music business. Katie has been a finalist in the Galaxy of Stars Talent Search.

Amanda Hayes, former Galaxy of Stars Talent Search finalist and performer with the Galaxy of Stars Spectacular Show, was crowned April 14th, 2012 in Omaha, Nebraska as the Nebraska National Teenager. She will travel to San Antonio, Texas this July to compete for the title of America's National Teenager. Amanda is excited to be back with Galaxy of Stars this year as a volunteer and to help all the contestants! |

In 2005 as 1st Place Winner in the Galaxy of Stars Talent Search Finals in Lincoln, Nebraska, Amy was awarded a recording session at Upper Room Studios in Kearney, Nebraska. She recorded an original CD produced by Wynne Adams, which was submitted to the Berklee College of Music and opened the door to Amy receiving a 4 Year Scholarship.
