Contestants from across Nebraska competed in the Galaxy of Stars Talent Search Semi-Finals & Finals. Thirty-nine performances were in the Semi-Finals. Twenty-two performances advanced to the Finals. During the Finals competition, the Top Five Original Songs were showcased by Songwriters who had competed earlier in the Galaxy of Stars Songwriting Contest. The Awards Ceremony followed the Finals competition.

The Dream - Believe - Achieve Award was presented to Tom & Terri Ware at their studio in Omaha. Due to Terri's health condition at this time, Tom and Terri could not be present at the Galaxy of Stars Talent Search Awards Ceremony.
